Rosemount Guest House is situated in the picturesque sailing village of Kippford which is nestled away on the undiscovered and scenic Colvend Coast, 20 miles south west of Dumfries, South West Scotland.
Rosemount is an impressive granite built Victorian Scottish villa and is centrally located in the village, situated on ‘The Front’ of Kippford with an unspoilt view overlooking the Urr Estuary.
We are a Visit Scotland Four Star Guest House and offer excellent bed and breakfast (B&B) accommodation over four bedrooms.
New for 2009 we have our newly refurbished master suite comprising of 2 interconnecting rooms with a bedroom with luxurious superking bed and a sitting/living area with superb coastal views and en-suite facilities.
We also offer a twin bedded en-suite room with views, and a double bedroom with a seperate refurbished luxury bathroom.
And for those with young children (under the age of 12), our family room is in our garden annexe with it’s own private access and a partial view across the water. This room comprises of a superking double bed, bunk beds and en-suite shower room. This room is also available as a double or twin for two persons.
Our guests also have the added advantage of one of the best views in the village with the use of our conservatory and outdoor seating which overlooks the estuary, where you can sit back, relax and watch the world go by with a pot of tea or maybe a glass of your favourite tipple. And our bright and airy breakfast room is where you will be treated to a delicious and healthy breakfast.
